Faith in Action (FIA) Food Drive

Peace will be collecting food for the FIA Food Bank on October 2nd to help stock the Dexter area food bank.  Items needed in the pantry:  Canned, fresh or frozen meat; juice; canned chili; pasta side dishes; Pancake mix and syrup; mayo, mustard, ketchup; Kleenex, dish soap, laundry soap, cleaning products; shampoo/conditioner; shaving supplies; deodorant; tampons; toothbrushes.  Please place your items in the boxes provided near the coat racks in the church entry.  The food bank is low on items – please help if you can!

Dexter High School Library Volunteers Needed

Sign up today to make a positive difference in the lives of students at Dexter High School by volunteering to help keep the library open on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Volunteers always have a partner working with them. The duties are limited. You will be trained before you serve. A signup sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the church entry.  See Pastor Courson with questions.

Lending Library

Did you know Peace has a lending library including devotionals, Bible studies, CD's, and teacher resources?   Visit the tall bookshelves in the education wing.  Please leave your name on the "check out" card located in the back of the resource you borrow. Questions/suggestions/comments may be addressed to Dorothey Paulun at familyofpauluns@charter.net .

Dexter Tornado Relief

Peace is accepting donations for tornado relief. Contact Pastor Courson or Peace if you know of any families needing financial assistance. The next tornado clean up day is Saturday, April 29th at 9:30. We will clean up the drainage ditch area between Fleming Rd and Horseshoe Bend, off of Dexter Pinkney Rd. Bring chainsaws, trailers, rakes, etc.

Quilters Group

Meets 2nd and 4th Fridays at Peace. Quilts are donated to disaster relief areas and charities.

Dexter Daze Infant Comfort Station

Peace provides a shaded, private area for mothers to feed infants and for those with young children to get some shade and make a craft.

Tyler Steffey Field

Located on Peace property the baseball field and soccer field are used by the Dexter Little League and Dexter Soccer Club.
